Biography

Hélia Santos is junior researcher since 2003. She holds an MA degree in Sociology (Postcolonialisms and Global Citizenship), from the Centre for Social Studies and School of Economics, University of Coimbra, a PhD taught programme that she joined again in 2015, now as a PhD candidate of project MEMOIRS (ERC 642684). Her research interests focus on postcolonial studies and identities, postcolonial education and, more recently, memory studies. She works in the Project Management Office (GAGEP) that coordinates since 2021.
