Bruno Sena Martins
Biography
Bruno Sena Martins is a researcher at the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (CES/UC). With a background in Anthropology and a PhD in Sociology, his work focuses on the intersections of the body, disability, human rights, racism, and colonialism. From 2013 to 2023, he co-coordinated the PhD Program "Human Rights in Contemporary Societies" and served as Coordinator of the "CES Goes to School" Extension Program from 2013 to 2020. He has been involved in numerous international research projects and conducted fieldwork in Portugal, Mozambique, and India. He is the author of several books, book chapters, and academic articles, and his work is also featured in scientific dissemination initiatives.
