Biography

Inês Alexandra Sequeira Lima is a Librarian at the North/South Library (BNS) of the Centre for Social Studies (CES) of the University of Coimbra (UC), since 2014. She has a degree in Information Science, Archivistics and Library Science from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra and a Master's degree in Information Science from the same institution. Her dissertation is entitled 'Academic Libraries and Social Inclusion: a case study of the North|South Library of the Centre for Social Studies'. Her work interests focus on the processes of inclusion and integration of the foreign academic community in the academic space; training users in the handling of research tools; as well as enabling the academic community on the different research methodologies - providing support/guidance in research; seeking to specifically disseminate scientific information according to the themes of the research that may be taking place, not only to the national but also to the international academic community.
